About the Project
This one of a kind walnut-staked leg bench was built to showcase this particular piece of wood. Walnut is already one of the most beautiful woods to work with and to have in your home. This piece is no exception. Due to the nature of the grain and the condition of the material, I employed bowtie keys to stabilize the end checks from extending any farther into the bench.
